It’s fall, y’all! What better way to celebrate than a social media content shoot commissioned by Kate’s Real Food for their very special new bar- Pumpkin Spice! It’s such a treat!
The Artist Series, No. 2, featuring State College ceramicist Kara Kyle
As a ceramics hobbyist, I was immediately drawn to Kara’s elegant hand-built forms the first time I stumbled across them on Instagram. (Occasionally a wheel-thrown piece will make it into her repertoire, but hand-building seems to be Kara’s preferred MO.) It was a real pleasure to get to know her a bit as we talked about her work, and as she showed me a bit of her process. Kara has this calm, graceful energy that is so enjoyable to be around. I’m particularly smitten with the way she often includes touches of real gold in her pieces. It adds a unique quality to her work that makes it easy to spot as hers. See more of her beautiful work at KaraKyleCeramics.com!
Food photography for State College area new restaurant Flour & Stone
Food photography with included interior and exterior images for State College area's newest fine dining hot spot, Flour & Stone. Flour and Stone is the new sister restaurant to beloved Pine Grove Hall, which is found right next door. The fine dining torch is being handed off from PGH to Flour & Stone, while Pine Grove Hall now offers a more casual menu.
I'm so excited about this new dining option. My husband and I enjoyed our first reservation during their soft opening, and everything was as amazing as, maybe even better than, the preview tastes I experienced during this shoot (which were truly outstanding!). Chef Tory Glossner and proprietor Liz Grove have really brought something special to the Happy Valley table!
State College Senior Session with Izzy
This State College senior has it all- killer smile, kind eyes, and excellent taste in music. (When we met she was wearing a Fleetwood Mac t-shirt, and not in an uneducated or ironic way.) I just loved getting to hang out with her, and I hope you enjoy Izzy’s bloom-filled shoot as much as I do!
